I UYou Light Up My Lifen was the theme of Homecoming, held on September 30, 1977. Activities leading to this special event included a Powder Puff football game, in which the freshman and junior girls teamed up to defeat the sophomore and senior girls, various Pep Club activities, and the Homecoming Parade, in which the senior class won first place for its float entitled nShuffle the Cards.H The coronation of Vicki Hall, a senior, as Queen and of Melody Scrivener, a junior, as Princess, was held after the game against the Lawson Cardinals.
