IN FOND MEMORY 9' All important knowledge does not come from textbooks. Indeed, a great many ot life's important lessons are learned from people. Miss Beulah Twist, who taught typing at North High for many years, died last year as a result of cancer. Seven years before here untimely death, Miss Twist realized the serious- ness of her illness and that soon she would die. Facing reality courageously, she continued her teaching career at North High until last summer at the time of her death. To both the teachers and students who knew Miss Twist and those who have heard of her, she stands as a symbol of courage. To her memory we humbly dedicate Hootbeats of l956.
