BOY’S JR. HIGH The Junior High Basketball team ended its season with a record of 4-4. This is a suc- cessful season because most of the teams played were freshmen teams whereas NP started all eighth graders. David Mahosky and Doug O'Conners were the top point produc- ers while Rock Griswold, Todd Llewellyn, and Mike Carlson played well all year long. Rounding out the list of 8th graders were Todd Levandoski and Pat Powers. Two Freshmen were also on the team, Todd Kreger and Elwin Kriner There was a very strong turnout among 7th graders and the outlook for NP Basketball seems promising. The 7th graders finished with a 6-2 record. Mike Wilson also played many of the regular Jr. High games. Other 7th graders include Randy Kendrick, Greg Ruberto Bill Novitski, Mark Kahana, Ron Ritt, Jim Bogaczyk, and Tod Jones. GIRL’S JR. HIGH BASKETBALL Front Row: T. Marvin, L. Smith, M. Dalton, K, Wark, M, Mase, P. Kelly, Back Row: D. Nybeck, A. Webster, F. Davies, Coach: Mrs. Miller, A. Baker, A. Musingo, R. Webster, L. Mundis. What should I do now? Despite a 3 — 5 won — lost record, the girl’s jr. high basketball season provided some valuable experience for some promising underclassmen. Mary Kay Dalton and Kate Ward led the team in scoring. Lori Smith did some strong rebounding throughout the sea- son. The team played some exciting basketball. An especially thrilling game was a heart- breaking 20-19 loss to their arch-rival Well- sboro. Mrs. Miller, their coach, was very pleased with their attitude and hard work throughout the season.
