For the past twelve years we have been prepared to assume respon- sible and useful positions in a modern world. Our instruction is now complete and each of us must decide how we can best serve society. Some will go on to higher education, some will fulfill their military obligations, and some will begin immediate service to their community. But, regardless of which road is taken, it will be taken by individuals who are capable and willing to make their own decisions. In the years to come, we hope that this Yearbook will be successful in its purpose of preserving the memories of the people, places, and events which played such an important part in our lives. We, the class of 1971, upon the completion of our years at North Penn, wish to express our deepest gratitude to the man who has contributed so much to our school. Although he has been with us only the last of our high school years, his kindness and warm understanding, along with his new ideas, have made each day of this year very memorable.
