dedication Each year, according to tradition, we dedicate our annual to a teacher whom we feel has helped us change from dopey-looking adolescents to the more adult status of seniors. This year however is special, for we are choosing a teacher who is special, Miss Patricia Moore. This unbe- lievable woman does everything worth doing at our school and does it well. She's a stern teacher, a paranoid sister, an overprotective mother, and a very, very good friend. We happily dedicate the 1977 Chief to a generally happy person, P. Moore.

, X g 1 -X S ss : x5 S ' miss chief Gayle Gore was selected Miss Chief for 1977. This honor is based on scholarship, leadership and overall appearance. Gayle has always been a leader in academics and always willing to help on any project. She's a member of the Student Council and President of the FHA. She's in the Student-Faculty Advisory Committee and a member of the National Honor Society. The Senior Class nominates girls for the honor and the faculty makes the final decision. The decision was not hard to make.
