We t l Throughout the school year students experience many ups and downs and changes in their scholastic and personal lives. Yet, there exists a constant change that often goes unnoticed, and surprisingly, in so far as it pertains to everyone, the four seasons are more than mere divisions of the year. They have a great affect on one's life style, not only in the clothes we wear, but also in the activities in which we participate. Fall signifies the start of school with football games and clubs being organized. Basketball and exam time take over during the somewhat chilly winter months, and everyone waits hopefully for the first signs of spring. Resembling the emergence of a butterfly from a cocoon, students become more rambunctious, taking part in tennis, golf, track-and all the time elated about the prospect of closing another school year and beginning a fantastic summer on the beach. This is pretty much the role seasons play during our education, but seasons also can be categorized in relation to life in general. We, as students, are presently in 'the spring of our lives, with summer, fall, and winter to come. As we go through our seasons may we cherish each one deservingly and prosper. Nancy Shultz .
