Board of Education .sell-.inf The old welcomes the new .V M ,Si Miss Louise Joldersma - Clerk, Mr. Ray B. Withey - Trustee, Mr. Joseph M. Ferrell - Secretary, Dr. Cole S. Brembeck -- retiring Superintendent, Mr. Wayne Eikenberry - incoming Supertintendent, Mr. Marion Bradbury, Jr. 1 President, Mr. Charles S. Prescott 1 Trustee, Mrs. John P. Sheldon - Treasurer. They turn the Key . . . The class of 54 is indeed fortunate to have had Dr. Cole S. Brembeck as superintend- ent during their last three years of high school. Through his outstanding leadership we, the seniors, and other students now have but to live up to the high standards he has set. All of us are grateful for his fine guidance and leadership, and we wish him all the luck in his new position. We also would like to welcome Mr. Wayne Eikenberry, whose warm friendship has given the seniors the desire to experience more of his fine leadership. To Mr. Eikenberry, we wish also to say, Good luck in your new position. We realize now that we have not lost a great friend, but have gained two. The person who has contributed much to the thoughts and ideals of the students and given them advice and counsel is Mr. Dunsmore. To us, he has given a philosophy which has con- tributed toward making us happier individuals. Many are familiar with his statement, lt is not the amount of potential you have, but how you use it. The seniors are fortunate to have experienced the fine leadership of a person whose influence has given us the desire to accomplish our goals and ideals. May North Muskegon High School continue under such excellent leadership for many years to come. Not to be overlooked are the secretaries. The entire school could not function without the efforts of Mrs. Barbara Cole lregistrarl in the high school office and Miss Louise Joldersma lclerk to the Boardl in the main office. Our Sincere thanks for the help they have rendered. While not many of us come into frequent contact with the Board of Education or are familiar with its functions, it is the governing body of our school. All we can do is thank these citizens who give their time freely and willingly for the betterment of the North Mus- kegon High School. 7
