Fall Play Big Success November 16, 17, 18 1979 John Patrick's, TEAHOUSE OF THE AUGUST MOON, was a comical story about the simplistic ways of a small Japanese village, and the persistent struggle to help them adapt to a modern society. It portrayed a relevant message useful to us all: In the rush of our lives, often we forget to take delight in what is simple joy. The play was directed by Miss Denise Booher and Mrs. Diana Hoke. Together, they produced an enjoyable portrayal of TEAHOUSE OF THE AUGUST MOON. Mrs. Hoke and Miss Booher award Sherry Cooksey for her outstanding role as Miss Higa Jiga.
