TO A GOOD START Kim Overpeck Mr. Hiller The Marching Band performs at all home football games, parades, college activities and other civic events. They won a trophy for being one of the top bands in the Crawfordsville Christmas Parade. In November the Marching Band becomes the Symphonic Band. The Symphonic Band plays at School Concerts, the County Festival, civic events, band contests, and at other high schools during the year. Many students from the band perform solos and perform in ensem- bles for contest each year. Some students also play in the musical Pit Band, Stage Band and the Pep Band. The Stage Band received a FIRST place at the State Contest this year. Dennis Yount and Carol Leste are student directors for the bands.
