'Service Above Self Sorrota believes in Service above Self , and the thirty-nine members of the club fulfill this pledge by actively serving the school, church, and their community. Always keeping in mind the club motto you have hitched your wagon to a starf Sorrota girls, under the sponsorship of Mrs. Chonin, perform many Worthwhile projects during the year. Among their main activities, the club visits an old folks home and a local orphanage. This year the club collected money for the Fibrosis Drive and spon- sored a toy and clothing drive. Sorrota has charge of the Christmas baskets that are distributed throughout the community, and the Christmas dec- orations for the school. The girls also conduct bake sales, give a fashion show, and hold their annual dance after the Edison Game. Several of the Sorrota girls meet before school in the en- trance of our school.
