Our education doesn't consist of all work or all play alone. just as classroom instruction leaves lasting traces, so our extra-curricular activities round out our education and leave memories which will become even closer to us as we grow older. All the activities featured in this section were not present at the start of our school. They were added year by year at the students' suggestions, and as the school added the tenth through twelfth grades. Sharing in these activities through the years have brought the students closer together, giving them a feeling of pride in their school and fellow students. Young people putting forth their supreme effort for achievement in their fields exemplifies the spirit of improvement at North Miami Senior High.

As tradition would have it, the cheerleaders and Student Council decorated the Hame- coming Court Float with white love-seats, baby palms and red roses.
