Rifle Teom: New Sport ot North Miomi High Gne of our newer sports teams is the rifle team. At the present time they have twelve members, but the interest in this sport is steadily growing. The team has many sports activities during the year. Every Saturday they meet here at the school and have target practice for several hours. They have matches quite frequently in which both the boy and girl members participate. Most of these matches are out-of-town. They have traveled to such places as Key WVest and Tamiami. Girls interested in sports and those who excell in them participate in the extracurricular activities offered by the Physical Education Department. This year our volleyball team brought honors to North Miami High by defeating all other girl's teams for the district championship.
