Quill And Scroll is Goal of Journalists Quill and Scroll is an honorary society for high school students. ln order to become a member, a student must be nominated by the journalism spon- sor, maintain a 3.0 average, be outstanding in jour- nalistic achievement, and rank high in leadership and citizenship. A member must have published a minimum of two hundred inches or its equivalent in photography, art, or business. Students who excel in journalistic studies find Quill and Scroll and excellent outlet to improve their work and receive criticism from people with literary talents. Future Nurses of America The girls in the Future Nurses of America at North Miami Senior High have a desire to aid the sick and comfort the wounded. The members usually plan on entering some phase of the medi- cal world and raise money through many worth- while projects. During the year they sponsor bake sales, dances and candy sales. Through their ef- forts they have set up a fund for optical and dental aid for underprivileged students at our school. Their many field trips add worthwhile knowledge to their quest in the medical profession.
