D.C.T. members gather to eat lunch before going out to their jobs. D.C.T. Leorns Through Experience We realize our education explores many facets. Our Diversified Cooperative Training-Diversified Education program explores the vocational edu- cation facet to the fullest. This club endeavors to promote the growth of cooperative vocational education and a better un- derstanding of the club's purposes by the general public, for the benefit of our state, community, school, and ourselves. Cooperative Business Education Provides Business C.B.E. provides basic business information of ed- ucational value, and sponsors events such as the Parent-Daughter Tea, C.B.E. octopus sale, Nas- sau trip, Christmas and Halloween partv proj- ects, employer-ernployee banquet, and the Dis- trict Ten Conference. Special requirements for membership in the club are senior status, three or more credits in business education subjects, minimum overall average of Cn, and preferably a B average in business ed- ucation subjects. Since l956 the C.B.E. at North Miami High has helped business-minded young ladies advance in their chosen careers. They participate in livestock and poultry judging contests. Since 1951, the club, under the direction of Mr. Sistrunk, has encouraged boys to try to improve themselves and their surroundings.
