Our cafeteria staff is: Mary McCoy, Edna Clark, Iulia McNeely, Evelyn Stamp, Allie Foster, Agnes Wolcott, Aretha Stafford, Edna Neuly, Marie Moureau, Dorothy Muthart, Julia Black, Gertrude Snowden, Viola Murphy, Ruby Coosey, Betty Servatt, Frances Finney, Belle Atzel, Willie Pearl Bailey, Gladys Sockton, Elizabeth Green take time out from their busy day. Martha Cowens, VVilla Dennen, Jimmy Brown, Evelyn Gwynn, Dorothy Miller, Anna O'Neill, Mar- agaret Roberts, Edith Russel, Jessie Smith, Ada Souden, lean Stianchi, Mae Diehl, Dorothy Gros- swald, Maragaret Iohson, Irene Gabrial, Ann Pap- endick, Grace Sconiers, Lennie Van Eck, Mary Cline, Lessie Mae Smith. MAIDS Always doing their never-ending job, the maids, Willie Pearl Bailey, Gladys Stockton, and Elizabeth Green, take time to say 'hello' to the students of North Miami High. These maids have many tasks set before them each and every day. They dust the rooms, clean windows, polish glass, and many other tedious tasks. They work from the time they arrive at the school until the time they leave. 47

The class room is crowded into the background and textbooks forgotten in the limbo of oblivion as we follow each glorious float through the Home- coming parade, as we thrill to the excitement of the announcement of the superlatives, or as we anxiously await the judge's decision as he pores over the beauty photographs. Among our most cherished memories are those associated with the features of our school year, for a necessary accompaniment to the class room is the active participation in our school's activities. Who can forget the thrill of becoming one of the honored Pioneers, or hearing onels name float across the night air as the Homecoming Queeni' Who can prevent the tingle of excitement on awaiting the outcome of the Silver Knight compe- tition'P ' These are an integral part of our education, and a most important section of our school day mem- ories.
