XVe never realize how much the presence of others means until we think of our- selves as being alone. North Miami has offered us her greatest treas- ure-a store of friendships. It is an inexhaustible store of happiness which will never be fully drained. It is happiness resulting from friendships we were glad to make and will be proud to keep in memory of our years at the friendliest school in the world. I l I Framed in the doorways, reflected from the tranquil surface of the Senior Pond, and meeting you as you turn a corner in the hall are the faces of the people who make this the living school. People are the warmth, friendliness, and per- sonality of North Miami. Music filled the November night as a sparkling crown rested on the blonde curls of Miss Carol Collins, Homecoming Queen. Seniors cheered in the main hall and sang the Alma Mater after our victory over Miami Jackson. Enchanting music drifted across the sands of Tahiti Beach and were swallowed by the vast sea before us at the Luau. Standing room was at a minimum as We cheered the Pioneers to an overtime victory over Miami High in our gym. Big events and small compose An important one heads for the basket. ., - ' ' X 555 Q QM Y. ii x the song we sing as we near the end of a wonder- ful year. W'e have found pleasures awaiting us through- out the year. NVe have shared in the fun and festivities of many events. XVe tore the pages off our calendar and on them were magical dates-the Edison game, the Christmas Ball, and the prom. XVe have walked through the halls and smiled at the people who have helped to make this a most memorable year.
