The primary purpose of NFL is to interest high school students in speech activities until they acquire a high degree of ef- fectiveness as speakers. Experiences in creative thinking and in the arts of communication are the best training for our American way of life. The forensic program includes student congress, discussion, debate, extempore speaking, oratory, and interpretation of literature.
