Since then we have seen you grow up to become a lovely young lady, win twirling titles by the hundreds, become our solo twirler and finally our Homecoming Queen. Carol, did you know that you have twirled in more than 84 football pre-games and half-time shows, rehearsed with the band over 800 hours plus your own practice, participated in seven Orange Bowl games, five Orange Bowl parades, twirled for Mahi Shrine games, and you have won many outstanding awards and honors. The usual types of programs are prepared including assemblies, tele- vision appearances, the sixth annual presentation of Handel's The Messiahn Qwith the assistance of the North Dade Civic Choral Society-picture shown also on these pagesl. Plans are made each year to enter District and State Music Contests. During past years North Miami Senior High has done extremely Well in receiving superior ratings for its Work in con- cert and sight-reading. Each yearls Work is concluded with the annual Spring Choral Festival in which all of the choral organizations in our school take part. Concert Choir is responsible for the vocal music used in our graduation ceremonies each Spring in Miami Beach Auditorium. Students from this group usually form the nucleus of the All- State Concert and experimental choruses at the State Music Clinic held in Tampa each January. Mr. Dutton looks over a score, f
