A girl, in order to be eligible for membership in the Garde, must have a BH average and exemplify outstanding citizenship and service in her all-over school life. Her morals and standards are of the highest caliber and she realizes that scholarship, leadership, and character are as important as the ability to perform. The Honor Garde performs at all football games and took part in the annual Orange Bowl Parade. They held a dance after the first home football game at which they announced their first Top Kick who was Tom Roller. Their other projects included a tag day with the band, the sale of Christmas wrapping paper, a candy sale, and a moonlight cruise. 189 Roberts, J., Keifer, P.
