CONCERT CHOIR The purpose of this organization is to do its part in bringing musical enjoyment to North Miami Senior High School and the North Dade area. The Concert Choir this year was comprised of around 75 students who have accomplished a certain amount of musical ability due to their training in previous years work. Its various activities included performing at assemblies, P.T.A. meetings, meetings of several civic organizations in the Miami area, vocal clinic in Tampa in January, Hi-Jinx, Baccalaureate and Commencement. It also participated in the Music Clinic held here in May under the direction of Doctor John Raymond of LaFayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. Concert Choir formed the backbone organization for the presentation of the Christmas Messiah along with members, along with girls, boys, and reserved choruses of North Miami Senior High School Music Depart- ment. The director felt that this year,s group of boys progressed more rapidly than any group which has gone before it in North Miami's history. Boys' Chorus assisted in the musical portion of the Thanksgiving and Christmas assemblies during the year. It was also responsible for the background chorus of the vocal department's annual 4'Hi-Jinxw production. Boys' Chorus also participated in the Music Clinic in our school this year by Doctor John Raymond, Choral Director at LaFayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania.
