Physical Education Builds Skill Twisting themselves into pretzel shapes these girls learn muscle co-ordination in the tumbling classes at physical education. Working on the apparatus in the gym builds skill and is a pleasant form of recreation for the girls. Team sports such as this volley ball game not only teach the girls sportsmanship but also the ability to work together. Sometimes phys. ed. classes provide the inspiration for the girls to further their interests in sports such as partici- pating in Girls, Intramurals or varsity sports. Trampoline bouncing provides a diversion from the regular routine for the girls' physical educa- tion classes. Physical education classes such as these relieve the tension that school work and outside activities create.

The Hub of all Student Activities derives around the governing body of the school which is known as Student Council. The Student Council consists of a representative, and alternate from each and every homeroom. These activities include: Homecoming Week, Foreign Student Drive, Elections, Dress Up Days, Student Photos and Student I.D. Cards, and the publication of Stu- dent Handbooks. Herb Yates presides over Inter-Club Council meeting.
