Miss Abalon, assistant librarian, and Penny Heinz look for a book via the card file. A new club at North Miami, the Library Club has as its purpose to train stu- dents who may be interested in library work as a career. Members are composed of regular library workers, who are ready at all times to be of service to the library or to the student body. F. B. L. . Leaders of Tomorrow L Secretaries today, business leaders tomorrown was the theme of Future Busi- ness Leaders of America's homecoming float. These girls, who plan to enter the fast-rising woman's business world, are taking at least two business courses. Yearly projects by F.B.L.A. include selling roses on Valentine's Day and, of course, the U.S. Savings Bonds drive. The North Miami Science Club,s aim is to create an interest in science in stu- dents and to help the school and com- munity in scientific endeavors. As an organization, it assists the sci- ence department in sponsoring the sci- ence fair and makes Held trips to a variety of places of science within the county.
