Fourth Year Sue Milone and Sue Dickenson touch Sub Deb Hdreamboatu Dennis YVillis for a contribution to the American Cancer Society fund. Q S. On a typical meeting night, the girls settle down to seriousness before Carol Buller, chaplain, opens the meeting with devotions. The smallest club, Sub Debs requires a 3.0 average for all members. Their annual service projects include giving a Christmas party at Bay Oakes Home for the Aged, presenting Christmas corsages to all teachers, sponsor- ing spirit week, decorating the cafeteria bulletin board, assisting in the cancer fund drive, participating in the foreign exchange program and this year, pre- sented the Hcus tree and Home of the Pioneersi' sign to the school. ,C L T -. 4 E111 W... . ul -I ' . i '1 i, i - X ' Y F g -J 7 i inn. me -' , i ' , 1 Q QQ, mifvnn ,. . , ,, .-,T 5 Barbara Coleman, Patty Stevens and Barbara Grubb participate in the program at Northeast Miami Woman's Club, sponsor of Sub Debs. Omine. Sub Debs also sponsors a dance, a bake sale and the post-prom breakfast. For their own pleasure, the club takes part in forensic follies, enters a float in the homecoming parade and has an annual alumni party. They are guests each year at a tea given by their sponsor, the Northeast Miami l'Voman:s Club. Junior Exchange boys are a familiar sight at football games. Besides passing out mimeographed copies of cheers, they see that the honor guard and cheerleaders are provided with cokes. Annual projects include a dance and participa- tion in the American Cancer Society fund-raising drive.. Junior Exchange is also responsible for the new landscaping in the center patio. Organized in February of 1957, the club is sponsored by the National Exchange Club of Miami Shores and faculty-sponsored by Mr. Fred Bassnet. Bob Peele, Joan Chewning and Irwin Katz take time out to enjoy a good joke. It must be good! Putting final touches on dance decoratioiis are Terry Capes and Mike Schafer. s
