Mary Powell, was chosen hy the 74-75 Stallions to he their Football Sweetheart. Mary's interest in sports played an important part of her participation in many school activities as a three-year cheerleader. High achievement in her academic studies secured her a place in the National Honor Society for two years. Her junior year she presided as trea- surer and as a senior she was vice-president. She appeared regularly on the North Mesquite Honor Roll. Mary's out-going personality carried her to he a memher ot' the Future Teachers of America, Presi- dent and Treasurer of the Cirl's Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and a two-year memher of the FHA cluh. She was also known for her active interest in karate, this activity earned her several awards. Pam All-around husy, funny, friendly, attractive, and enthusiastic was senior Pam Potter. Chosen hy the entire student hody to he the fourth Homecoming Queen for North Mesquite, Pam displayed her interests in the success of this school hy heing a very active girl. She was a two-year memher ofthe Student Council, Blue Brigade, and Girl's Fellow- ship of Christian Athletes. She represented N.M.H.S. as a cheerleader for four years. Pam received many honors while attending high school including being elected All School Favorite two years in a row and heing Freshman Favorite in 1971. Her leadership among others helped her to he elected a class officer for three years also.

Pam Recognition was not a new experience for Pam Burkhalter, the All-School Favorite. She was a Varsity Cheerleader, known by all the sports crowds for outstanding tumbling stunts. She was extremely involved in Girl's Track, and went to State Finals in the 440 yard run and the long jump. Even though Pam has brought many honors to the school, she remains friendly, sincere and enthusiastic. She excels in her school work and clearly earned this honor. Ph1l Persistence on the athletic field describes this year's All-School Favorite, Phil Westbrook. A Varsity football player for two years, he served as captain his senior year. His prowess as defensive linebacker earned him all district honors for both years. Aside from school athletics, Phil enjoys hunting and fishing. He has always been known for his good sense of humor and his ability to enjoy him- self at all times. ll-School Favorites amed

Anna held many parts in produetions as an aotive mem- ber of the Tliespian and Drama Clubs. Singing was a favorite pastime which helped Anna become a part of the A cappella Choir. A past memher of the Blue Bri- gade and B-Drill, she was also in the N.M. National Honor Society. Kelly Music dominated the life of Kelly Hatfield. the Band Sweet- heart. She was in the Varsity and Stage Bands. Her ability took her to state solo oontest. ller other maior interest was choir and she partieipated in A cappella Choir with surzoess. Kelly maintained good grades also and her sweet manner earned respect from everyone.
