In keeping with his traditional interest in the schools, he worked with the School Board to gain adoption of a new bond program through an election. They succeeded in getting a very positive response from this close-knit community. This fall Dr. Poteet finally realized another dream when he traveled to Russia on a highly regarded program designed especially for professional educators. With their spare time, he and his wife, Ann, worked on the new home and stayed active in church and community programs. .ww 11' . K x1.' Above: Dr. I. C. After a year of being editor of the. Trailblazer, many new faces have entered my life. I'll never be able to thank all of those people who have helped to make this book possible, because this would require thanking every person at North Mesquite. This book is for all of you and because of you. My hope is that each who reads the 1975 annual will be able to see the perspective that the staff has tried to project throughout the book, and that it will help you to remember this year in some spe- cial way.
