Ever since movies started, the world has been greatly attracted by them and influenced by them. Everything from Popeye to Ordinary People has been given to us for either sheer pleasure or to teach us something. But among those movies, there was no movie made on the life of the high school students here at North Mesquite High School. The different things that happened during the year and the people that were involved may never be told on the silver screen of Hollywood. Therefore, this book has been made for you, the students at NMHS. The people of this story are not right off Broadway, in fact, they are just normal everyday people. Or are they? Anyway, we know that your story is important and should be told. So we have tried to catch a glimpse of that story and set it to a movie theme. We now present to you 1981: NORTH MESQUITE HIGH SCHOOL. 2
