PROLOGUE At a pep rally, joan Saunders, Head Cheer- leader, conferred with someone in the press box. Robby McMurray did a Nixon imitation in his campaign speech. 10 Tommy jolly, later elected President of the Student Council, campaigned. r Sissy Kelton came prepared to sell suckers for new cheerleading uniforms. Sherri Long performed with the Lettergirls in a Charlotte Hornets football game.

CURRICULAR Mr. joe Hunt, Principal Qualzfied Princzpals Head our School 2. Mr. joe Hunt, the new principal, worked hard to make his first year at North a success. Here he was caught by the camera while doing paper work. 3. One assistant principal, Mr. Bruce Hurd, worked with student schedules. Here he's checking records of Seniors to help them get the subjects they need for graduation. This was just one of Mr. Hurd's many jobs. 4. The man that worked with the bus drivers was Mr. Frank Gadsden, a new assistant prin- cipal. Mr. Gadsden made sure that he had a driver for every bus. Naming a substitute driver when a regular driver could not drive was a dailv task. 12 M .W
