FEATURES SAE honors North's student teachers Each year, North is fortunate to have student' teachers from North Carolina colleges come to do their student teaching. This year, in the second semester, they came from Davidson, ASU, and UNC-G. To show their appreciation, the Students for Action in Education, formerly the Future Teachers, gave a reception for the student teach- ers. ORGANIZATIONS Council, committees work for involvement Beginning the year in the red, the Student Council soon worked its way out and came up with money in the treasury. In charge of the Homecoming dance, the Social Committee worked to make it a success. For the first time in several years, the Council sponsored a College Day for the juniors and seniors. The Interclub Council was revived, so there would be better relations between the clubs. Members of the Activities Com- mittee worked to bring some out- of-class interest to the student body. 3 1.
