Dedication VIKING Staff Dedicates Yearbook to Adviser There are people we meet in life who make things better just by being the kind of person they are. We are fortunate to have one such person at North. She is loyal, devoted, and helpful. She stresses the importance of knowledge, honor, and service. Her kindness and her modesty make her unique. She is a friend to all the students, as well as to all the teachers. She dedicates most of her time and self to North Mecklenburg, so we, in turn, with pride, dedicate the 1972 Viking to Mrs. Mary Cooke. 1lMrs. Cooke helps Patti Lloyd search for errors in the senior directory. 2lln her class, Mrs. Cooke is dedicated to having all her students understand their assignments. She spends much time helping them, just as she is help- ing here, 3lMrs. Mary Cooke teaches mathematics and helps advise the Viking staff. 2
