Turner first came to Senior High as an assistant coach. After World War ll, in which he served as a Lieutenant, senior grade, with the U. S. Navy, Mr. Turner became principal of Fourth Street Junior High. ln August, l948, he assumed his duties as Senior High Principal. Mr. Turner received his Bachelor's Degree from Arkansas State Teach ' T xas Christian his Masters Degree from e ers' College, Conway, and University, Fort Worth, Texas.
