NQ,ffh3L1ff1e Rock High School Wildcat 1943 ! , r THE WILDCAT Due to the shortage of vital materials caused by the war-The Wildcat of 1943 has been forced to fall below the standards of past editions. This edition of The Wildcat may be justifiably called the War Edition. We would like to lend to the war time motif by dedi- cating this booklet to all the young men of North Little Rock High School now serving or soon to serve in the armed forces of the United States. Perhaps our humble offering will be a fond remembrance when all is well again. -THE STAFF This booklet was compiled by the Hi-Comet Staff and The Publications Committee. EDITOR .... It is up to you to choose a profession. have an idea and have faith to work this idea. Sears used to be just the name of a small-town railroad station agent up in Minnesota. Today it'S the BUY word of the nation. Such is the pow.er of an idea. Richard W. Sears had an idea. he saw the possibliities of mass manufacture and mass distribution. Mixed with his vision was faith. He knew that if he gave the people better goods for less money, they wouldn't let him down. Fifty-seven years has passed since Dick Sears sold that first watch. It was a good watch a good timepiece and cost far less than any equally good watch had ever cost. Since then America has been setting it's watch by Sears promise to give MORE and charge LESS. and because that prom- iso has never been broken Sears has come to br?-the BUY word of a nation.
