0606 We wish to give to all of you A gift that you'll ne'er forget And we hope and pray with all our hearts 'Twill be the best gift yet. We'1l wrap it up with kindness And to bind our friendship dear We'll tie the corners and our bonds, With a beautiful ribbon of care. We'll send it special delivery And seal it with a kiss, Deliver it across the horizon Your door-step not to miss. The day will come when you'll receive This package from a dove. The gift that stands for purity, For inside, you see, is love. This gift of love and kindness We gladly give to you For all your thoughts and deeds well done Our underclassmen true. Throughout the years we both have shared In sorrows and in joys, The girls have favored likeness In teachers, music and boys. The fellows share their shopwork And autograph the books. Make faces at the teachers And brownie up the cooks. Together both have gone to shows, Banquets and record hops We've attended the special dances Homecoming was really tops. The hour is now approaching, The dawn is shining through The seniors of '59 Are bidding all adieu. We hand in all our homework And welcome the end of the year Then suddenly we realize, That Graduation's here. There is nothing more for us to say, Nothing more to do, We only wish you all the luck, Our underclassmen true.
