Detwiler, to the most outstanding graduating senior. The award for the year 1959 was won by James Connaughton. The qualifications for this award are scholarship, character, and citizenship. Only students in the upper third of their class, scholastically speaking, may qualify for this award. The Detwiler Award consists of a medal, a cash scholarship, and the engraving of the winner's name on a bronze plaque. The award for the year 1958 was won by Dennis Ackerman.
