Student activities are an important part of the school year. Just as each person has his own talents, each organization has its own purpose. Music, language, science, and sports are some of the most important on the extra- curricular calendar. Mr. Johnston prepares enchiladas for the Spanish Fiesta. Focus on Social Activities . . . Concerts, meetings, receptions, athletic events. Our relation- ships with one another, whether personal expression or group effort, help form lasting friendships. Tension mounts as final plans are made.

Emphasis on Academics Education is the purpose of all schools. Students must be recep- tive to this idea, however, if true learning is to be accomplished There is no set method of teaching. Lectures bring forth new ideas to be studied. Research reinforces these concepts for dis- cussion. Our faculty has prepared us for application of this knowledge which extends beyond graduation. 4
