Math and Sciences Mr. Cserep explains the value of chlorine as an exidizing agent. Lab, as well as book work, is an important part of chemistry. Biology students use microscopes and other lab equipment while learning about the forms and development of life. Mr. Johnson instructs the class in correct lab procedures.

Health In Mrs. Houser ' s health classes sophomores study the causes, symptoms and treatment of diseases. Besides health, an important part of this course is learning about accident prevention through an understanding of the causes. Mrs. Linster, the school nurse, is always avail- able for consultation whether the problem is a minor physical ailment or some emotional disturbance. Her control of the Health depart- ment helps make the facility as pleasant and re- laxed as possible for both students and teachers.
