Home Economics Students in Mrs. William ' s Foods I and II classes find that there is more to planning a meal than just cooking. They learn to provide nutritious and attractive meals. Clothing classes, under the direction of Mrs. Andrea, provide opportunities for students to develop sewing skills which enable them to restyle and make new clothing.

Commerce Zl -— -« Mrs. Brunson helps students prepare for busi- ness occupations. Students are helped in the shorthand and office training classes to fur- ther develop methods used in secretarial work. A part of secretarial training in- volves the ability to cope with deadlines which are often very difficult to meet and seem beyond the limit of the average sec- retary. The bookkeeping classes develop the mental and mechanical skills to pro- vide a far better job. Janice Kite prepares her homework. Mrs. Brunson explains the correct business form to Marilyn Peterson. Dewayne Lee finds the adding machine helpful in bookkeeping.
