1987 Homecoming Queen Homecoming 1987 will be recalled as both a cheerful and remorseful occasion. The hum of busy students reverberated throughout the hall- ways as club members added the final touches to decorations for the traditional pep rally and Home- coming dance. Band members strived to learn a new entertaining WM show for half time, while football gp, players endured strenuous work- outs in hopes of maintaining their winning streak. But in the midst of the festivities also could be heard the tears of many, as students and faculty remembered Senior Tony Johnson who sadly passed away lv the Sunday prior to Homecoming. fllvllll Don't Mess with Texas: Cheerleaders announce the Panthers' confidence with a bold run through message.
