V T' Y -e Beau And Sweetheart Glenn Bolyard and Denise Bur- leaud were chosen by the Yacht Staff to represent the staff as Yacht Beau and Sweetheart. Glenn is a Senior this year and has been on the Yacht Staff two years. Denise is a Northerner just down from New Hampshire. There Denise was in Spanish her first two years and was in VICA, the Outing Club and in Building Trades at P.J.C. This is the first year Denise has been on the Staff. Denise and Glenn are both photographers in the Yacht. They are pictured here at Campbell Soup.

Mr. And Miss North Lamar Voted MR. AND MISS NORTH LAMAR by the stu- dent body this year were DON STRICKLAND and IERI GRAVES. Their picture was taken at the old Paris depot which is located on the south side of town. Jeri and Don are both Seniors. Jeri has been very popular throughout her school years, as her record shows. Her classmates elected her Freshman Class Favorite, All-Sophomore Girl, All-Junior Girl, F . F. A. Sweetheart, Vica Sweetheart , Cutest , Friendliest, and, probably her greatest honor, Homecoming Queen. Jeri served as Vice-President of her Freshman Class, and as Secretary of her Senior Class. She has played basketball and has run Lrack these past four years and has served in the following clubs: Beta Club, as Vice President: F.'l'.A., as President: Tri-Hi-Y, as Vice Presidentg F.H.A.g Spanish Clubp the Math Club: and has served in the Student Council as Representative and as Corre- sponding Secretary. Don, not to be outdone. has played Varsity Foot- ball. where he received the recognition as First and Second Team All-District Center, and track. Don has been a member of the Key Club, where he served as Secretary and as Lieutenant Governor: Beta Club: Science Club: Math Club: Student Councilg and the F.F.A. , where he served as President. Their picture was taken at one of the newer industries in town, Merico, located on Loop 286 . Clark and LaMoine are also Seniors and have participated in many school func- tions these past four years. Clark, who was a member of Chicota High School his Freshman and Sophomore years. was Sec- retary-Treasurer of the Freshman Class, Vice President of the Sophomore Class, and was elected Most Handsome of Chi- cota High. Here at North Lamar Clark participated in the F.T.A. as well as the F.F.A. and was elected F.H.A. Beau. LaMoine has been a member of F. H .A .: F.T.A.g the Beta Club. where she served as Vice President, Tri-Hi-Y, where she served as President: and in D.E.C.A. , where she was also President. LaMoine was elected All-Around Freshman Girl, Best Personality, Junior Class Favorite, and represented North Lamar as one of our beautiful Homecoming Nominees.
