. .But Work Does. Many hours of hard work and self discipline proved that Mrs. Nohel was right when she said, Talking doesn't cook the rice, but work does. Those who demonstrated this in their excellent performances were var- sity gymnasts Qrightya Diane Nation, Teri Heins, Tris Ellis, Sheila Edmondson, Karen Reynolds, Jeanette Klamkeg Marti Seaberg, Sara Mears, Danese Heffner, Thelma deGroen. Practicing hard to gain a spot on the varsity were J .V. team members fbelowjz Mary Duncan, Arleen Pitt, Mary Cable, Linda Lanning, Tonya Moore. Frosh team members Qrightj showed much enthusiasm during the season: Michi Yamashita, Patti Kasczyski, Kristi Weiss, Debbie Nicholson, Lynn Smith, Cindy Mikels, Marci Thomas, Gayle Areheart, Margaret Thomas, Kerri Myers, Retha McDonald, Debbie Shultz. All the teams were coached by Mrs. Ruth Nohel and Mrs. Mary Chilton.
