o e :the PUD 8 SO mor some 1 Art ming don t To the language, English, mathematics, science, journalism, athletic, home economics, and manual training departments we leave our ponies, essays to write, bent compasses, broken test tubes, perfect news stories, Habbergasted footballs, dented pots and pans, and toothless saws. Eddie Collins will leave his intelligence to Princeton University to be used whenever Albert Einstein retires. ' We do deed, devise, and bequeath to our worthy friends, the Iuniors, the campus, upon which they may drive cars, ride cows, and dig dandelions. Patty Peters leaves her latest traffic ticket to Miss Mary Louise Baker. She should know how to take care of it. QEXperience, you knowj. To the custodians we leave two nice water pails and a pair of new sponges to erase the many locker notes, love letters, and such. Pat Fuson leaves her ability to get her finger in every pie in school to Mary Lou Fuller. The Buzz Staff wills all of its scoops to next year's Staff. QThey think a scoop is something a coal man usesj. Iean Caraway and Shirley Turpen leave all of the test tubes, which have survived their long, hard usage, to next year's chemistry clas-ses. To all of you in general and no one in particular we bequeath sincere thanks for many good times dreams fulfilled and dreams shattered our many stiff tests and the unforgettable four years of happy daze we ve had at North Kansas City It is our Hnal request that the student body and faculty deem our departure just cause for lam entation and will reverently dispose of our remains ln witness whereof we have this 13th day of Iune AD 1949 signed sealed and declared this our last will and testament and do hereby revoke all other w1lls made by us Senior Gfass 0 I 1 X ,N The signature of the foregoing will of the said Class of 1949 of North Kansas City was acknowledged by them in our presence to be their act and deed and we have attested the same in their presence . Great caravans of people plodded across the desert, and towns sprang up all along the coast. They left their treasures to the people of the United States in the form of gold, cities-, and a colorful, romantic story. We, the Senior Classof 1949, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of sound mind and doubtful memory, do hereby make our last will and testament in order that we might also leave some of the treasures of our times. First of 'all we decree that all of the just debts, club dues, and graduation expenses of any senior girl in gym class should be paid from the Davy Iones Locker fund. The Senior Play Cast wills the old stage divan to the Smithsonian Institute. QWho knows? Some day it might be a very valuable antique worth thousands of dollarsj. Arthur Nichols wills some of his super-duper snapshots of different people to the Nelson Art Gallery. Don't worry, folks, he was- only kidding about blackmail. We wish to leave to the members of the faculty the memories of our cunning ways, charming manners, sweet tempers, helpfulness, eager, blank, or bored faces, and clever remarks. Dallas Divelbiss and Pegge Rhoads will their Dewey buttons to Gerald Gorman. They donit think they'll be needing them any more.
