LITTLE For the fourth consecutive year Virgil E. Little has been track, foot- ball and basketball coach of the North Judson Blue Jays. During these four years he has coached three outstanding basketball teams. In 1948-49 the team dropped only two games and then went on to win the Sectional. The l949-50 team lost five games during the regular season and advanced to the final game in the Sectional before losing to Bourbon by one point. This year, again the Blue Jays lost only two games, being victorious in l8, in- cluding the Valparaiso Holiday lnvitational Tournament and two wins over Knox. Although we were defeated by Hamlet in the first game of the Sec- tional, the boys did a fine job and everyone is proud of them, Coach Little was born in Winamac, Indiana, but attended school here in Judson all l2 years. At Northern Illinois State Teachers College he par- ticipated in track, wrestling, football and basketball, After graduation from college, he coached at Sheffield, Illinois, for two years, and for three years at Minonk, lllinois. Another three years were spent in the U, S.
