Don Paglia presented Mr. Frasher with the class plaque, and Kathleen Corwin sang. Carla Sue Cummins was announced as the winner of the Faith Roberts Award. Richard Schneider recited the class motto followed by the Senior Ayes relinquishing their section to the Senior Bees. The class song, written by Ruth Dunbar, was sung by the Senior A's followed by the Senior B farewell song. The strains of Aloha filled the and as the graduating seniors marched up the aisles. And as old Father Time opens the gate, It's so long and good luck, XVinter Class ,48. This day, Thursday, january 29th, commencement exercises for the graduating class of Winter 1948 were held in the auditorium of North Hollywood High School. Class Recessional, Presentation of the Colors, The Star Spangled Banner, Invocation, Presentation of Ephebians, Roll Call, Awarding of Diplomas, the School Hymn and Recessional were contained in the program which marked a new era for the class of '48. Today we follow, tomorrow we lead.
