l K Introduction The imagination of man is one of his greatest blessings. Without it there could not have been a 16th century Shakespeare, an 18th century Rubens, or a 20th century Gershwin. We would have none of the beautiful things that make life wonderful. If man looked at life without using his imagina- tion, his existence would just be a long series of cold statistics and facts. Thus school days are only as wonderful and rich as each individual makes them. To some, each day is bleak and monotonous. But to many each day offers new and wonderful experiences, each event producing a small link in the charm of their life. Within the pages of this annual it has been our endeavor to not only use new and different ideas, but to create an entire new concept by using our blessing of imagination to the fullest. 6 I
