A mountain river now you hear An evergreen you see. Then comes a mountain glacier's rear And now a Zephyr free. At sunrise when the day's begun Soon o'er yon crag you see The first glimpse of the rising sun. Quite fast the hours flee. Then comes that wond'rous mountain With golden light so rare That everyone begins to croon A sweet melodious air.
