Candy Fisher Reigns in ' 73 Homecoming A Happy excited Candy Fisher. The lights went out - . the crowd hushed to a whisper tension, anticipation mounted and suddenly Candy Fisher was sobbing in happy disbelief as she was crowned 1972 Homecoming Queen. During the traditional half-time ceremonies. Candy ' s court was introduced to Saxons and alumni. They reigned over the remaining half of the game against West Warriors. Sponsored by the Senior Class of 1973. the Home- coming Dance and reception was held in honor of these six beautiful girls. Music for the occasion was provided by the band Clap. Homecoming Activity Week Friday. October 20th. was just the beginning. At snack, 15 Saxon girls cried with joy when their names were read off as Top 15 for Homecoming. And again on Oct. 27th. five of these beauties sobbed in disbelief and hap- piness when they were announced as Top 5 for Homecoming Court. Excitement and anticipation filled the air during the week of Home- coming activities — Oct. 30th - Nov. 3rd. It was five days of fun and laughs galore, which Included a pie-eating contest, a 19b0 ' s fashion show, and a slave-for-a-aay auction. Just a little more 14 Laura Inase is the biggest pie eater. Sofia Villona enjoys eating pie.
