The football royalty reigned over the Student Each year near the close of the football season the student body elects a boy from the varsity football squad and a girl from the student body to reign as Pigskin Pete and Varsity Sue. This year Lonnie James and Elaine Woodman were crowned in the North-Hutchinson pep as- sembly and reigned over the Stu- dent Legislature dance. E i Other candidates were Sue Barrett, Pat Cobb, Lizzie Dawson, Gregory Gray, Richard Hauser, and Ronnie Stephens. TOWER KING, Milton Willis, and TOWER QUEEN Floy Raye Mayer, were chosen for their service to the school, good character, leader- ship and scholarship. Each homeroom nominated one boy and one girl whose grades were then checked in the office. Those who had a B average for the entire high school career were placed on the elimination ballot. The six highest couples were placed on the final ballot. Page Four
