C. V. THONIPSON Principal I am sure the Class of '58 has many happy moments to remember. On the wings of imagination we relive our former experiences. Most of them are pleasant but some, perhaps, we would as soon forget. However, they are a part of the inexorable past and, like the laws of the Medes and the Persians, they cannot change. But the future is different! Its pages are still blank and we may write on them what we will. I sincerely hope the experiences and great moments which have been yours while students at North High School will help you to inscribe on the pages of the history of your future bright stories of service, happiness, and success. I assure you that your sojourn here in high school has afforded me many pleasant moments and hours to remember. fC. V. THOMPSON MICHAEL IVIITCHELL Auiyfmzf Pz'i12i'ifw! May I take this opportunity to congratulate the mem- bers of the 1958 graduating class. As you go forth into various fields of endeavor, you will often dip into your treasure chest of memories and relive your high school experiences. The class of 1958 is indeed fortunate in that one of these memories will include a man who has served many years as assistant principal and this year as principal. His wealth of experience and guiding hand will go far in helping to mold you into useful and outstanding citizens. Our memories will be much richer as a result of our associations with Mr. Thompson. My associations with your class during my first year at North High School have been most pleasant, and I trust all your memories will be both pleasant and cherished. -MICHAEL MITCHELL 7

STANTON W. SIMKINS Ayfiylfmt SZllU61'f77f67Z6i672Z' To the Class of 1958 Your treasure chest of high school memories holds many things dear to you, but none is quite so priceless perhaps as that of the friends you have made. As years go by and you reflect upon your high school moments with classmates, teachers, and parents, you will realize more and more that none of us is sufficient unto himself but that each of us influences the other. In your reflections and in your years ahead may you find an ever-deepening respect for your fellow man and a sincere desire to live peacefully and in harmony with your neighbor. That is my wish for you as you achieve your graduation. Congratulations and Godspeed to each of you in the goals you will have set. 6 J.
