Ensembles Rehearsal tonrght gang' Those words mrght apply to any ot several organlzatlons tor the musrc department rs composed of many W1th1n the band orchestra and chorus are a number of ensembles and sec trons whrch rehearse regularly and perform separately In the band we fmd excellent clarlnet and trombone sect1ons and a hne saxophone group The orchestra IS proud ot 1ts harp tr1o 1lS str1ng quartet and 1ts cello sect1on A glrls sextet and a boys quartet are the outstandxng groups rn the chorus and no doubt all of you have heard the syncopat ed strarns of the swmg band The grrls tr1o has been popular at audrtorrum programs and dances These groups have performed at many c1v1c funct1ons besldes supplymg the entertcunment at numerous audrtorrum pro grams Each year North H1gh mus1c1ans part1c1 pate 1n a solo and ensemble festlval Whlch th1s year was held at North In the past North H1gh mus1c1ans have always rece1ved excellent rat1ngs and w1th the flne Splfll of cooperation and industry shown in the pres- ent musical groups they are assured of con- tinued success.
