The team played some tough games, and put up a good fight and came through with five victories this season. The team beat Sibley, which was our Home- coming game, a good game to win. They also defeated our biggest ri- val, Tartan, by the score of 7 to 6. According to Coach Gustafson there was a lot of enthusiasm and team effort this year. This years squad had a big turn-out of seniors. At the banquet Mike DiMartino, Greg Hosch, and Doug Bird were named All-Conference. Todd Carlile was named the Offensive player Above: Stay back, l'll han- dle this! and Greg Hosch was named the best Defensive player of the year. The most improved player of the year was Cliff Skagen. Kelly Leahy was named the most spirit and hus- tle. The most valuable player was Mike McDonald, fthe first time a Junior has won this honorj.
