Homecoming Queen - Meli. Mr. Polar Bear - Ike Cox Mullins and Palli Burkhead and Paul Polls. Was it a Mythical Dream? To the 525 people that attened the 1987 North High Homecoming Dance October 10, the dream became a reality. ' It was one of the best dances ever Dr. Joan Roberts commented. Out of the several different groups that were there, everyone got along and had a great time together. The theme ' Mythical Dreams ' was based on ancient Greece. This years homecom- ing committee wanted an idea for a theme instead of a theme song. The decorations also helped create the illusion of an ancient time period, with the big white pillars, the laural wreaths and the scenic back drops of Mount Olympus. The colors were soft and romantic with a touch of gold and silver to add some excitement. nds fry to ' boogie.
